As I approach the zero hour of what will be the birth of my first child, I wonder, how can I remain as calm, cool and collected in the Delivery room as if I were the almighty cool James Bond. If James Bond were to ever step foot in a delivery room, would he bring his pp7? Would he wear his tux? I know the scenario is somewhat difficult to imagine. James Bond really would never be a one woman kinda guy, so placing him in a Delivery Room is really putting him way out of his element. But it just seems interesting to me.

I either pass out or thrown when I see blood. I thought I would never be able to be there the whole time and be OK.
But when your in there and its all going on the adrenaline starts pumping and its like you can do anything. I think if the doctor wasn’t there I could have delivered the baby myself, thats how weird it is. I can’t describe how calm and intense it is at the same time.
I’m glad I was there because its the most amazeing thing I have ever seen. Its so amazing that you go in one person and come out another.

Yeah, I’m not going to handle it well. Both my brothers have had 4 kids, and they’ve done it completely different from each other. One has had a home birth, and totally gets immersed in the moment, while the other goes to the hospital and hides behind the curtain. I’ll probably hide in another room when my wife gives birth.
