1. I’m BACK. johann sebastian BACK. Speaking of musical mischief and meyhem… Stephen Malkmus. I’ve listened to Face the Truth at least 5 times now. It’s good. I’ll be honest though, it’s been an acquired taste. It’s gone from a 4 out of 10, to a solid 7. Should I be starting with this album, or am I doing this wrong?

   I’m doing this wrong aren’t I. DANG IT! Charf, you’re s’pose to be guiding me through this musical journey like, like… the popular captain of the hockey team/teacher-charming/secretly helping out at the nursing home on the weekend where (unbeknownst to you) Jackie Petersen (just the hottest girl EVER to attend Chestermont High) had noticed you when visiting her grandmother…

   Where the heck was I going with this!?!

   Bri, BRIANA!!! Get me my ADD pills! I’m trying to write in Charf’s blog and I can’t stop typing out my thoughts! Oh my GOSH! I just keep typing stuff! SH*T! Oh, NO! I just swore, and I made a pact between me and the Great Master of Infinite Eternity that I would keep my language pure and my thoughts pretty. This is NOT GOOD.

   Did I mention I’m back?

2. Coco, this is great news. You are back and you listened to Malkmus and you get it. It is most definetly an acquired taste. I also have some really good news for you. “Face the Truth” is my least favorite of his.

3. Okay then. Let’s do a little album trade. Tell me the next album I should listen to, and I’ll give you an album that will BLOW YOUR MIND! Actually, I don’t really know exactly what kind of music you’ll like, so maybe you’ll have to tell me. Here’s a list of potential candidates-

5. I’d say my favorite songs are “Freeze the Saints”, “Mama” and “Pencil Rot”. My least favorite is probably “I’ve Hardly Been Waiting”, although it’s not a bad song. The entire album is pretty easy to listen to.

   I’m pretty sure you’ll dig The The. How do I get it to you? I don’t think I know how to FTP. It’d probably be easiest to mail it. If you want, just give me an address to send it to, otherwise I could try emailing it or something.
