I have been playing the Wii for just over a week now and I will have to say, I am officially more excited about new Zelda game(Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess) more than anything. The new controller, the channel interface and wii sports are all very cool.

I am not quite sure what the deal is with the Miis but I did enjoy creating my family. Its too bad there doesnt appear to be a way to create a dog or cat mii, because I’d happily create my dog and cat as Mii characters. Also, I was hoping other Miis would randomly show up on my console allowing me to interact with other Wii owners but that doesnt seem to be the case. It seems like there will be more to come with the Miis in the future.

I am also wondering if Wii Sports is more work than video game. The two times I attempted Wii Sports I ended up breaking a sweat. Call me crazy but I dont want to work out, I want to play a video game. Dont get me wrong, it felt great and extremely responsive. They got it down pat. For baseball you have to really swing the bat like you are outside trying to hit a fastball and the bowling you really need to get in the motion to get the proper spin on the ball to score a strike.

The controller is no gimmick, it really works. In Zelda where it was probalby more of an after thought than truly planned out considering how the game was originally slated for the Gamecube, but it feels wonderfully natural.

Overall, I would have to say that my love for the new Zelda has entirely trumped everything else. I havent really given Wii Sports, Virtual Console or my little Miis near enough attention. I will probably post more about those other aspects of the Wii as I feel I am closing in on the end of the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

I spent two hours trying to beat the first mission last night on “Rookie” and still ended up with a ‘Hoodlum’ ranking. Evidentially I killed 4 other people besides my two primary targets. At one point I had to pull out the suppressed baller and get my hands dirty to avoid having any witnesses. I was able to avoid making any sound which assisted in my ability to avoid getting caught on camera. So right now my identity is still a mystery. Overall I am fairly pleased with my first assignment in a pretty long while. I cant wait til I can pull off my first Silent Assassin. The game rocks. The tilted, UPC branded head is back in full force. Its all very wonderful. I even managed to go back and get my official hitman suit(stashed next to a dead guard who fell victim to the old cut the power lines trick) before I fled the scene down a cliff to an airplane hangar in true hitman fashion. I love it.

Last week a new game came out for the Nintendo DS that I just cant put down. Its basically an old school Super Mario Brothers game that moves side to side but has been updated with new items and moves. I just cant get enough of this game right now. Finding Pipes to warp into and secret 1ups. The New Super Mario Brothers for what it is, has really exceeded what I expected it to be.

Coco has just informed me that he will be posting a ‘mixed-tape’ so to speak, just for good ole Charfy. I look forward to this tape and will post my feedback here. Stay tuned…

I discovered a short time ago, its somewhat enjoyable to try and use the word creep to describe someone who is, well you know, creepy. However, I have started to do this with somewhat of a twist. I dont just call out, hey “creep”. Instead I get a little creative. Here are some of those creative “creep” calls.

Where ist he?

I had a little run in and Marty Mentfan and now he thinks The Ment is back and filming new skits. After I beat his ass down with a stick, I told him repeatedly we are simply looking to get some of our old stuff up on the site. Nothing new. But he wouldnt listen. Now we have a real mess to deal with.

For some reason, unknown to all but the most powerful of minds, Cocobolo has just gained access to Charft’s Blog! There is something I need to say before I chew up the feather pillows, pee on the loveseat, and poop in a secret place that he wont find for several weeks until finally, in a fit of desperation, he spends several hours trying to find the source of the smell, only to realize that the smell isn’t coming FROM the toilet, but rather, BEHIND the toilet. Where was I going with this…? Oh yeah, Charf, what’s up? Did you have your kid yet? How’s Wombat doing? These are thing I NEED TO KNOW!
